About the event

In keeping up with African Voices, the Kanangayi Symposium is tremendously excited to feature yet another amazing lineup of speakers whose devotion to meaning fulimpact is exemplary.

  • Tawanda Choruma: founder of www.zimkaffee.com, Tawanda will share with us how he leverages his passion for entrepreneurship to deliver a "narrative-changing" cup of coffee that adds an awakening layer of uniqueness and specialty to Zimbabwe (#specialtycoffee #coffeeorigins)
  • Hilda N. Liswani: Hilda will take us through her empowering journey to social innovation and sustainability advocacy. Founder of WeBloom (www.webloomglobal.com), Hilda is globally recognized as a force for good, she powers forward a vision to utilize a gender-lens approach as a catalyst for improved outcomes of technological innovation. She is Forbes 30 under 30, WEF Global Shaper, Queen’s Young Leaders Award recipient, and so much more...
  • Christopher Mbanefo: the charismatic seeker of wisdom & peace and founder of OXÏ-ZEN (https://www.oxi-zen.io/) will help us navigate wisely through the depths of carbon absorption & sequestration, and the impact thereof on our planet and our planet's lungs. Member of The Club of Rome, Christopher's solution is a #blockchain -powered platform that will enable Emitters and Converters of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases (GHG) to directly interact and transfer economic value.

A very special thanks to the Impact Hub Zürich (Simone Uster, Martina Wilhelm) for having us. With an audience of entrepreneurs and aspiring change-makers, we couldn't imagine a better place for the Kanangayi Symposium to feel home. The Kanangayi Symposium is free of charge, open to all, and we look forward having you with us on February 6 at 6pm (doors open at 5.30pm) at the EVENT SPACE BOGEN D (Impact Hub Viadukt), for a thought-provoking evening on what it means to create meaningful impact.
