About the event
And it was yet another mind-nurturing evening at the Kanangayi Symposium! In exploring the broader topic of #afrooptimism, delving into a changemaker's entrepreneurial journey, we got to hear from these very talented doers:
- Hilda Kilama: VP Programming at PROWAH Hilda Kilama and how she channeled her quest for fulfillment into PROWAH, "an initiative that aims to empower professional women of African heritage to connect, learn from one another and expand their professional and leadership skills to become change agents who shape the African narrative and impact their surroundings".
- Henry Erimodafe: Founder & CEO at Abrod In a great show of presence, the Abrod Team gave us its trifecta, with Andrea Sophia Moser, Moïse Kameni and Henry Erimodafe helping us navigate the tremendous impact opportunities from Africa for diaporans, through Abrod, their digital platform that facilitates access to #directimpactopportunities, rewards and remittances, by harnessing the collective power of the diaspora and beyond to empower the Continent's 54 nations through high purpose opportunities.
- Marie Tina Asoh: co-Founder & Research Lead at PlanAfrica Marie Tina let us into Plan Africa's environment-based solutions that can be sustained, to city planning and #policyadvocacy through collective knowledge exchange and placemaking initiatives.
A very special thanks to the Impact Hub Zürich for accomodating us. And another very significant thanks to our speakers, for sharing their entrepreneurial journeys to positive impact, and how they are moving the needle forward. And another huge thanks to our team, for delivering a unique experience that will assuredly continue to be echoed throughout the entrepreneurial community of #changemakers. #empowerenableelevate
