About the event

Thrilled to announce the next Kanangayi Symposium,, on April 17th, with yet again an exciting lineup of speakers, that will share their entrepreneurial optimism in the broader context of Answering An Innate Call To Action:

  • Elzine Gawaxab - Mushambi : founder of Impact Tank Namibia  the country's first Social Impact Venture Builder, Elzine will share with us how she leverages the power of social entrepreneurship to deliver sustainable social impact, as she answers the call to ideate and design interventions that seek to address systemically broken social issues in Namibia
  • Mona Dawood : entrepreneurship can be a perilous journey, susceptible to carry a significant mental toll on one's personal and professional well-being as well as within one's social networks. In examining the ties that bind founders to a cause, Mona will explore the psychological dynamics thereof and the importance of coping mechanisms in failing forward.
  • Olivia James Tolen : born of a vision to own the narrative and to ensure an accurate depiction of the multifaceted African fashion industry, Olivia will take us through both the challenges as well as the sense of fulfillment along the journey of forging the African Fashion Night into Switzerland's premier fashion event.

In an unending pledge of optimism, we're pleased to set the stage for our driven changemakers to harness the power of purpose to amplify its awareness. We look forward to an evening of inspiration and empowerment.
