Contract Manufacturing
chocolate made in ghana

Chocolate has been delighting millions of consumers around the world for over a century. The ever-present cart item has, however, continually failed at delivering economic growth in the Countries of Origin.

Until now, that is... with the recent (2020) completion of Africa's first-ever Solar-Powered Chocolate Factory in Ghana.

Purpose:

  • decent work & economic growth

Objective:

  • to form a strategic partnership with Ghana's sustainable and organic chocolate manufacturer to competitively rally global brands to the potential of their confectionery made in Africa.

Impact:

  • skill & expertise development

  • self-sustaining operation
  • sustainable industrialization

Spillover Effect:

  • in rallying neighboring regions across West and Central Africa through the setup of direct-trade routes, global brands will be able to have their Chocolate Origins sustainably and responsibly made in Ghana.

  • over 250 indirect public sector jobs by 2025

Duty & Tax
Terms of Trade Reform

While importing raw-materials ex Africa into the world is practically free, the same cannot be said for the import of Value-Added Goods (finished goods). Duties & Taxes levied on inbound transactions are overtly expensive and act as a deterrent to Value-Added Trade.

Inequitable terms of trade perpetuate global inequities.

Purpose:

  • improve inter-continental terms of trade

Objective:

  • implement a lobbying presence at the African Union to produce an equitable framework revision on Duties & Taxes that regulate trade between Africa and the World.

  • Forge constructive and open dialogue with Africa's global trading partners.

Impact:

  • skill & expertise development

  • self-sustaining operation

  • sustainable industrialization

Spillover Effect:

  • the precedent-setting achievement will serve as a roadmap to replicate the impact across other material-resource driven industries.

Deliverables:

  • over 15'000 private sector direct jobs by 2025

  • over 1Mn direct private sector jobs by 2030
